Unknown PCB to NewBrain.

Hi

I got a PCB from Ebay, it looks like a port expansion, with 5 additional ports.
Are there some that should hold an equal who can tell which ICs and other components that are used?

The number of the is KD10016 rev. 2

Re: Unknown PCB to NewBrain.

Hello Klaus

I think this is a GFG PIO Board produced by GFG Microsystems Limited, 36 Armitage Way, Cambridge. Check out the GFG Product Guide which is available for download on this website. Sorry I have no information on the ICs and other components.

Regards Colin

Hello Klaus

Can you put an image of the other side of the PIBOX circuit board that you have.

Best Regards

Colin

Re: Unknown PCB to NewBrain.

Hello Klaus

Would be great if we could reverse engineer the PIBOX circuit board and produce a schematic diagram and track artwork.
Not an easy task I may add.

I have other text files on the PIBOX which I will post on the NB website next week when I find them.

Regards

Colin

Re: Unknown PCB to NewBrain.

Hi Colin

Funny that you just had to mention it.

I started to make a schematic diagram of the
And no it's not the easiest thing to do but it can be done
I plan to send it to you when I'm done
is approximately half-finished neutral
