Problems with the latest full version (3.xx)

I installed the latest version of the NB Emu in my laptop (XP, I know, but simply 'works', so...) and I'm facing some problems:

1- text import never worked OK for me, but now it's worse. When importing text (listings) into the emu, it misses chars at random, and if it is a line number,it's a complete mess. Also double-clicking on a file on a disk to load misses chars, resulting on an ERROR 153.
2- also when loading programs via double-click, if the program is on B: disk, the syntax isn't correct. It writes B:LOAD"xx" when the correct syntax would be LOAD"B:xx".
3- OPENing a large stream #0 (for listing) as "L100" and listing, when positioning the cursor on a line and using the arrow keys with autorepeat, after 5 or so chars the cursor 'wraps' and returns to column 1, continuing so 1..5..1..5. Not using autorepeat (i.e. one char at a time) works normally.
4- there must be some sort of bug in the new Z80 core code. Loading a program (COSMO.NBB) with emu version 2.62 works fine (the program draws some circles and FILLs them) but the same program with emu 3.xx start drawing some sort of unconnected 'arcs' and ends FILLing the entire screen as there are no boundaries.

Thank you.

Re: Problems with the latest full version (3.xx)

The z80 emulation is very bad i used a cp/m program that tests the z80 assembly commands and there are a lot of inconsistencies.
The previous version is 100% accurate.
So i have to change the z80 emulation and use a more reliable one.

Fixes in Version 3.0b3 (you can use the autoupdate [Help->Update check...] feature to update)

1. Fixed
2. Will be fixed on next version
3. Not sure what you mean (maybe a video on youtube will help me understand what you are doing)
4. Also fixed (Major BUG)

If you find any problems please let me know.

Thanks

Re: Problems with the latest full version (3.xx)

Can you confirm that autoupdate works on version 3.00b2? I am trying to update and the emu downloads a .dld file, but clicking on OK on the message saying "A new version has been downloaded.Click OK to Update and Restart the Emulator" nothing happens, i.e. when I re-run the emulator it is still at V.300b2 (confirmed, the bugs are there).
Am I doing something wrong?
Thank You.

Re: Problems with the latest full version (3.xx)

Yes autoupdate works as expected if you had installed the full version (3.00 b2).
Check that update3.cmd exists on the installation directory (you can find the file on the .rar file of the full version).

Re: Problems with the latest full version (3.xx)

Thanks, it was upgrade3.cmd that was missing (as I have a custom keyboard file to adapt to a PT keyboard, I never do a full reinstall). Now it's complaining about a missing file (Z80emulator.bpl) that I didn't find in the 3.00 full install. Can you help?
Thanks.

Re: Problems with the latest full version (3.xx)

Download the latest full version 3.0 Beta 4 and extract z80emulator.bpl to NB Emu installation folder.
That should do it.

P.S. You can extract the executable too as it has one more fix.
